The PK101 pocket projector has been a major hit with the users across the globe. Going by the kind of reviews that have been doing the rounds on the web, the PK101 has been warmly welcomed by the users.

The PK101 pocket projector has garnered a rating of 5 out of 5 from most of the users. The features most appreciated by the users have been the sleek design and the decent picture quality whereas the limited compatibility and the image size have been the biggest turn offs.

On the wishlists of most of the users were the following features.

1. Better picture quality:
Though the PK101 is able to deliver a good picture quality it pales when compared to the professional quality projectors currently available. The image quality, though appreciable in darker environments could definitely be improved to work just as well in brighter environments as well. Some users have also expressed displeasure about a bluish tinge in the whites. Sharper images with crisper colors would make the PK101 pocket projector a viable contender for the normal sized projectors.

2. Better compatibility:
The PK101 was may be designed to work better with iPods and iPhones but it would be highly desirable to have them work with the other popular devices that are commonly in use. An ideal case would be the gaming consoles which would enable gamers to carry on playing even on walls. There have also been complains about the projector not being able to work with laptops. Even though, it can easily be assumed that almost everyone today has some or the other form of the iPod, it is not always so. It would not be appropriate in many cases to carry official presentations in the iPod. Connectivity with a laptop is at least desired for the pico PK101 projector.

Recently the Nokia compatibility kit has been introduced to interface the projector with Nokia phones.

3. Better Audio:
The PK101 projector does comes with a built in speaker which works fine for watching movies with average sound. But in case of a presentation which has high definition sound, the speaker is simply not adequate and has to be either augmented or replaced by a better quality external speaker through the jack provided. A better speaker system which will be able to handle audio while watching movies or presentations with high definition audio should definitely be on the cards for the next releases.

4. Charging dock:
Though the PK101 pocket projector comes with a nice setup for charging, it could be made more efficient with a charging dock. Currently charging is possible only through the USB cable that is provided along with the device. A charging doc could be built into the tripod so as to eliminate the need to separately charge the projector. The inbuilt speaker could be made more efficient by shifting it to the charging doc. That way, the speaker quality can be improved and the PK101 pico projector can function more efficiently.
