PK101 Pico Projector Performance

The PK101 projector is capable of delivering perfect, crisp pictures up to 50 inches under ordinary circumstances. A dark room might be able to produce a better picture quality but then that is the case with almost all projectors. The image scaling works perfectly and the PK101 pico projector is able to produce a mini theater effect at the specified 480×320 resolution.

Thanks to the DLP Pico technology the projector is able to deliver rich and flawless colors without dark spots or tinges. The picture quality stays crisp with the edges being as sharp as ever, even when the image is pushed to the edge of the standard limitation of 60 inches. The success with the colors can be attributed to the technology inside which uses three LED lamps each for the three primary colors: red, blue and green. The technology is so robust that it even manages to steer clear of the rainbow effect that plagues most of the standard projectors.

The in-built 0.5 watt speaker works perfectly for personal use but can also be disabled easily for a better speaker system. An external speaker can be easily interfaced with the media player either to work in tandem or independently.

The PK101 pico projector can also be easily interfaced with Nokia phones with the Nokia compatibility cable that has to be purchased separately.

The PK101 can be set up by simply plugging into the any compatible AV device and projecting on the screen. The PK101 pico projector is not only compatible with media players but also with camcorders, dv-cams, digital cameras and other video players with standard composite AV Out.

Additionally the projector can be mounted on the provided tripod, to adjust the displayed image to suitable height and quality.
